Sorry you're dealing with this. A few things that have helped people I know in your position:

1. Don't write a 40-page declaration. The judge will skim it. Three to five pages, fact-focused, with exhibits attached.

2. Get organized about evidence now. Print everything. Number the pages. Build a binder.
